Who We Are

Salt & Anchor was never meant to be a brand.

It started at my kitchen counter, trying to make something that felt better than what I could find.

I wanted moisture that worked — not something heavy, not something decorative, not something that required me to sit still and wait. My hands are rarely idle. They’re holding leashes. Adjusting camera settings. Typing. Carrying. Building. Moving through long days.

I didn’t want care that interrupted that.

So I began experimenting. Small batches. Fewer ingredients. Learning how different butters behave. How oils absorb. How powders change a finish. I wasn’t chasing luxury. I was chasing balance.

Something scoopable.
Something steady.
Something that melts in — and lets you move on.

Over time, I realized this idea was shaped by the places I’ve lived.

The East Coast taught me that there’s strength in slowing down — in salt air mornings and space to breathe.

Ontario taught me that momentum matters — that full days and early starts require products that keep up.

Salt & Anchor exists in that space between.

Grounded, but capable.
Simple, but intentional.
Made for real hands living real days.

Care shouldn’t feel like an event.

It should feel like part of your rhythm.

Apply. Absorb. Get back to it.
